I am a liberally minded white adult male (happily married) in my late 40's who is pursuing an education geared to a career change (last one?) to teaching
at the elementary level after almost 30 years of work in related professions (Early Childhood Education, Community Support Work with adults with special needs,
and as a Recreation Programmer with adolescent youth). My lifelong hobby of gaming is tied to my personal / professional philosophy of education and personal
development: play is an integral component and perhaps one of the best means of experiential learning. Although I collect stuff (games, cards, movies), I hold
to "The Doctor's" conviction that I don't want to own or control the universe, I just want to experience it.
My Occupation
Student (goal - elementary teacher)
My Hobbies
Gaming (MTG & numerous CCGs, Euro & other board games), Movies (esp Sci-Fi), Reading (literature, philosophy & comic books), Badminton, Travel,
Rowing, Ballroom Dancing
